The American Microbrew Page!

So...I like beer.  Beer brewed in someone's garage, beer that I have to be in a certain geographic location to get.  I've decided that before I die I want to visit 50 microbreweries in 50 different states.  Here is where I will record my exploits!

A Rye Indian Pale Ale from Warped Wing Brewery in Dayton, OH .  The brewery is located in an old industrial facility in downtown Dayton, OH.  The tap room offers communal, bar, and hightop seating.  Brewery tours are offered (unfortunately for this excursion I did not take advantage).  I enjoyed the Rye IPA so much that I bought cans of it to take home.

Hop for Teacher from Fountain Square Brewery in Indianapolis, IN.  The first microbrewery my parents had ever set foot inside!  I also bought my mother a Workingman's Pilsner, which she did drink (somewhat reluctantly).  The brewery sits south of downtown Indianapolis.  My teacher wife loved the name of my beer, and I enjoyed the taste.  Also got to glimpse in at the brewing operation itself.  The most impressive piece is that the brewery has its own bottling equipment.  I'd love to see this beer served in Columbus, OH in the future.
